Tinker's Tales Snow? Tinker's first snow was a huge success! She loved the white fluffy stuff, and she so loved that we kept going outside to play in it. Oh, and she was a quick learner, that one! Yes sir! Gullable, but quick! You see, the corner windows in the living room of the crappy brown house in Lake City looked out on the street and a street light. Of course, when it snows in Seattle, it's usually dark outside, so the best way to check for snow is to look at a light, which will make the snow visible. We kept checking outside the window to see if it was still snowing by looking at the light from the streetlight. Of course, helper dogs to the bitter end, Vern and Tink "helped" us look for the snow. But Vern was a little lazier than the average bear, and only wanted to look a few times before he deemed it unnecessary, and wanted to go out and play some more. Not Tinker, she dutifully looked every time. To the day we moved out of that house, if you said "snow?", she'd run to the couch and look to see if there was any. Tinker loved snow her whole life, and playing in it was one of her favorite things. While Vern would pounce on a slickery ball and "squirt" it around the yard, Tink would roll a fuzzy one around, and have it gather snow for her to eat. She liked to chase snowballs, and she'd even bring them back from time to time. Just being outside in the snow was enough to make her smile. We have lots of fun snow pics of the Baby Grrr.
